iPad and Apple TV editions

The native media editions include stories, sounds and Visualscapes. They do not include sleep tracking, Health analysis, journalling or alarms. An active eligible Drift Off subscription can be restored through the same Apple account, including eligible Family Sharing access. StoreKit supplies the current price, billing period, trial eligibility and purchase confirmation. The media-library favourites, preferences and saved sound mixes remain local to the installation.

The free web edition

The browser edition has no account, trial, subscription or payment form. It includes the core relaxation library and two starter stories. The full story collection is reserved for the native apps. Your local browser records do not sync with the app.

Optional iPhone accounts

A free account is optional and does not include a paid subscription. Where available, email-code and Apple signup let you back up favourites, listening preferences and recent listening history. Keep access to the email address or Apple account you use to sign in. You can continue as a guest, export your account data or request account deletion in Settings & help > Your account. Account deletion does not cancel Apple subscriptions. Your journal, Apple Health data and alarms are managed separately from the listening backup. Relaxation and sleep records

drift off is a relaxation and wellbeing companion. It does not diagnose or treat a medical condition. The web journal is self-reported. The iPhone monitoring beta does not identify light, deep or REM sleep. Apple Health sleep records are historical estimates supplied by their source.

Alarms

The website does not set a wake alarm. Use a trusted phone alarm or clock. Native iPhone alarms require a supported iOS version, permission and a powered, working device. iOS provides system alarm controls, including Stop for independent backup alarms.

Native app memberships

The iPhone, iPad and Apple TV apps require an active membership, including during an Apple-confirmed trial. Monthly, Annual and Family Annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Annual plans are billed once per year. Apple’s purchase sheet shows your local price, billing period, trial eligibility and renewal terms before you confirm. Family Annual can be shared by up to six members of one Apple family group. The optional free Drift Off account does not include a subscription.

Manage or cancel in Apple’s subscription settings. Access continues until the verified entitlement expires, then a membership is needed to use the native app again. Existing alarms and local records are preserved. Deleting a Drift Off account or the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. Use Restore purchases with the same Apple account, including eligible Family Sharing access.
